One of our favourite new bands, garage-girl group Vivian Girls, are making their way to our city. They’ll be guests of honour at Spring Tones in late September and will play the more intimate clubs on their six-date tour. If you haven’t heard of these girls they’re what you must. Their debut album is one of the shortest, sharpest albums you will hear. Ten songs, only 25 minutes. A kind of burst of surf-punk frenzy.
