In Australia we take pride in our summer festivals. Big Day Out, Laneway and The Falls festivals always have an impressive lineup and having a good times is always a certainty. But even these festivals combined pale in comparison to the excitement of Barcelona’s Primavera Sound. Sure, Glastonbury may be bigger in size, and a little dirtier too, and Coachella has California, but Primavera is the boutique music festival. And the acts are just as impressive, if not more so. Can you imagine sunning yourself in the gorgeous Spanish sunshine listening to the likes of Beach House, Grizzly Bear, Coco Rosie and Sleigh Bells. Summer bliss.
