You may remember we included jewellery designer Paula Kyle Walden in our BLACK issue. Since we interviewed Paula she’s been working hard on a completing a QUT Creative Industries course in fashion while simultaneously fitting in modelling jobs (beautiful AND talented) and work on her own label.
She’s followed up Composing Space with Starlight Echoes, a collection that continues the dominance of sharp edges and organic, geometric shapes except this time one of the defining features of the collection is the colour palette. Its burst of chromatic tones is like a rainbow; black is delicately mixed with magentas and sea blues to deliver a style that is akin to draping artwork around the neck.
