Australian label Rittenhouse is one of those fashion brands that seem to fly under the radar. Fashionable without being too commercial, edgy but not painfully hip. It’s a brand based on classic silhouettes, enhanced with subtle detailing and quality textiles. Each season Sally MacDonald and Micah Hamdorf, the duo behind Rittenhouse, work with a subdued colour palette and standout prints to transform the basic into the unusual.
These pics are from their first-ever resort collection. Without seeing the whole range in its entirety I already know my favourite is going to be the one-piece swimsuit. I have to say I struggle every summer trying to find a pair of bathers. I’m very picky and it’s been an eternity since I’ve been in the water because of elusive said-swimmers. I won’t wear a bikini, I don’t like cutouts and forget the embellishments. I just want a classic shape in an interesting print. Thank you Rittenhouse! And talk about a perfect beach accessory in the Shelta beach umbrella (in signature Rittenhouse print, of course).
