So, as mentioned in previous posts, I have just come back from a lovely little sojourn in New Zealand. The bulk of our time was spent saturated in beautiful scenery on the south island but I was desperate to head to the north and check out The Department Store for a bit of shopping. Have you heard about The Department Store? It’s what happens when Karen Walker, Stephen Marr and Dan Gosling hang out together and come up with a super cool idea. Basically The Department Store is a southern rival to concept store Colette, except better because Karen has the coolest ideas of any designer I love. It’s a multi-level shopping experience (seriously), with fashion, beauty and art (Derek Henderson has taken over the gallery space for the next three months) combined in the most amazing interiors. Get your asses to Auckland!
