Bubbles Of Spring

It’s no secret that we’re fans of Scandanavian fashion, especially the new summer collection, bulles d’ete, from Stine Goya. Translating as ‘bubbles of spring’, the range is like a sartorial burst of sunshine, with its delightful colour palette and whimsical prints. While not straightforwardly classical, although definitely sophisticated in its construction, Stine Goya’s new season allows for  some of those quirky details that have become a signature of her work. And there seems to be an underlying touch of irony as she references a kind of bourgeois decadence one would find in upper class ‘leisurely pursuits’, like we could all join the Joneses at The Hamptons for a bit of frivolity.
