Art of Football
The team at SHOWStudio never stop. They’re about to finalise submissions for the Art Of Football competition which challenges creatives to sumbit artworks based on their love for the game. Nick Knight and SHOWstudio will review the submissions to select 11 winners who will have their artwork exhibited at Basel during the city’s prestigious art fair. Who thought sport could be so creative?

Nicholas Gates
His interest for sculpture was sparked during a ceramic class in school and now become a full-blown passion for Nicholas Gates. He’s mainly influenced by old-school and hip hop & eternalises the big names from the hood in ceramic. Kanye West stands proud with bear head and Louis Vuitton rucksack, whilst Tupac is emblazoned with his “Thug Life” tattoo.

How To Read Graffiti
Local Brisbane artist and internationally renowned graffiti artist Kasino’s work was recently exhibited at the “I Used To Skate Once Too”. His master paper “How To Read Graffiti” was a starting point for understanding some of the unwritten rules of graffiti.
