Little Tailleur
You may remember this label from our 2008 feature “The Ones To Watch”. Little Tailleur is one of our favourite designers with an aesthetic that combines tailoring with couture techniques. With an updated website that includes an online store we can now all indulge in some sumptuous Parisian-influenced designs. Our favourite from the Autumn/Winter collection: the Agatha lace dress. No words can describe this dress. It is just one of those pieces that take your breath away.

One of my personal favourites, fashion/cutlure/arts magazine Another Magazine, kept cognate through editor Jefferson Hack’s perception and mode, is releasing its own coffee table keeper. Another Fashion Book will revisit commissioned editorials from the last eight years bringing together some of the most iconic models and fashion-makers of our time.

Although winter is fast approaching, the sun gods have found a reason to rejoice as Karen Walker’s new eyewear range launches throughout the world. This season adds a fresh element to the eccentric style Karen’s Eyewear has become famous for. The collection shifts its focus to bold metal silhouettes but with the same high level of quality fans have become accustomed to.

J.W Anderson
Given that Fashion Weeks have wrapped up in Paris, Milan, London and New York, one must be forgiven for forward-thinking and imagining how the must-have pieces for fall will fit perfectly into our lives and our wardrobes, yet we are only beginning to discover the Spring/Summer collections in intimate boutiques around the cities. One designer who will encourage you to focus on the present is young Londoner J.W Anderson. With a background in luxury fashion and costume design it is only natural that his accessory pieces are dramatic and romantic, and with a grandiose nature. Although his references are steeped in both ancient and modern history, there is a strong emphasis on production and technological development.

Turn Me On Design
Turn Me On Design, current feature artists in Canvas’ DESIGN Issue, will be doing an installation piece at Sydney’s Museum of Contemporary Art. The “burning candles at both ends” exhibition, March 22nd, is a direct response to an issue that is relevant to all: global warming and the effect of climate change on glaciers.

Go Weston
Designer Matt Weston’s punk aesthetic jewellery pieces have caught the eye of pr maverick Rae Begley. Local bloggers were quick to catch on to the originality and inventiveness of his work a few years back so it will be interesting to follow the commercial collaboration with Rae’s Little Hero PR. Keep your editorial eyes peeled…
