Erin Petson for Bracewell

London based illustrative artist Erin Petson, who has previously collaborated with the likes of Stella McCartney and Selfridges, has created prints for Bracewell’s new Spring/Summer 07 collection. Bracewell’s new concept store will be hosting an exhibition of her work in mid-August and will feature limited edition prints and exhibits of large scale original artwork.

With a colour palette ranging from nudes to violent reds, her silhouettes transcend all sartorial element towards the sculptural. Her designs embody the idea of fashion as art.

Danny Sangra

A Central St. Martins graduate, illustrator Danny Sangra became a prominent figure in the London scene through his mural displays in store fronts. Now he has his own shoe company, has collaborated with Marc Jacobs and is soon to show in Tokyo fashion week.

Nicholas Gates

His interest for sculpture was sparked during a ceramic class in school and now become a full-blown passion for Nicholas Gates. He’s mainly influenced by old-school and hip hop & eternalises the big names from the hood in ceramic. Kanye West stands proud with bear head and Louis Vuitton rucksack, whilst Tupac is emblazoned with his “Thug Life” tattoo.

Romain Kremer

His summer designs were a little sci-fi, but Romain Kremer’s Autumn/Winter 2007 collection shows his mature, moutaineering side, with his boys taking the runway with layers hidden underneath layers. His proportions were slouchy and oversized and seemed to reference the New Romantics.

Katherine Wardropper

Jewellery designer Katherine Wardropper’s hand crafted neck pieces evoke images of grande Elizabethan dames. Her use of fabric means her works take on a more three-dimensional form and are often used for a number of creative applications, including installations, wall hangings or interior design.

Another Man magazine has invited Nick Knight to photograph a men’s underwear story in collaboration with menswear stylist Alister Mackie. Boned will broadcast live with behind-the-scenes glimpses from hair and make-up and what’s happening backstage on the 31st May and 1st of June.
